| For the longest time I refused to join Facebook cause I'm a real stubborn person. Well it's offical I'm addicted to Facebook and I have been ignoring Xanga. | It was so nice here last week...now it's cold enough to freeze the arse right off ya! Finally I got a new cell phone today (Saturday)...cause mine was on its way out. The cute guy at Bell was shocked that it still worked and that I haven't even replaced the battery. With my new package I get one landline # that I can call without it using my minutes...I was going to tell him to put his home number for that # but I chicken out and put my cousin's in there instead lol. The phone only cost me like $12 cause I had an upgrade pash discount (or whatever it's called) so that was pretty awesome. Anyhow, thats all for now. I working Sunday evening, so I will be going to church tomorrow morning. Have a good day everyone. | | |
| We had a discussion last night at our staff meeting. My supervisor was saying that Lent is 40 days and that whatever you give up you cannot have until the end of Lent which is Easter. Marie and I were saying that it is 46 days and that Sunday is like a mini Easter meaning that you can have whatever you gave up for Lent on Sunday. What do all you guys know and think about the subject. I was just wondering. I don't want to be sacrificing chocolate only to find out I was doing it wrong. But I am still reading my Bible more...which is the main thing. | | |
| Well I survived another week of Lent with no cheating....needless to say Saturday night after midnight which made it Sunday morning I had chocolate. I have even read my Bible more...which is good for me. Church was good this morning, even if I was 20 minutes late. I couldn't go to church in the evening cause I had to work. Anyway....nothing new is here. | | |
| Well I survived my first week of Lent (well okay so it started on Wednesday)...but I gave up chocolate on Wednesday and didn't eat it again until Sunday...big achievement for me...and I have read my Bible more. I really enjoyed church last night...they had a really good speaker. He was talking about your walk with God and how we should be hanging onto God letting Him lead the way...you had to be there to see the pictures and how he and our Pastor demostrated it. It was awesome. | | |
